Edson Dias is a Brazilian born photographer, raised and living in the Boston area. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer/Design and Photography from the University of Massachusetts. His photographic style is diverse, at times simple and elegant, and at other times whimsical and fun. Edson's work is noteworthy for its sense of spirituality, social responsibility and message.

"My work is directly influenced by my own personal values, and the things I feel are most important-my family, my community, art and having an honest relationship with each of them. I also take my work very seriously because I believe I am fortunate to be an artist and have a passion.

At the same time, I truly enjoy capturing spontaneous images, memorializing special moments in people's lives and applying a unique perspective to traditional events. I love taking photographs and I want you to love the photographs you hire me to take."
